Established in 1957 as an Authorized Motorola Service Center, Commtronics of Virginia, Inc. has advanced the organization to a full line sales, service, and consulting firm for virtually all wireless communications equipment. Our locations in Ettrick and Richmond, Virginia serve the Central and Southside regions of the Commonwealth.
Our organization employs 38 people providing customers with over 350 years of wireless communications experience. Our service team operation consists of sixteen service vehicles and two service facilities to ensure both in-shop and field service throughout the Commonwealth. Emergency service is available on a 24 hour, seven day a week basis, through on-call technician.
Due to the diverse client base, our staff is exposed to a wide variety of communications requirements and challenges. Thus, employees are required to attend customer and service training seminars, parts inventories control methods are continuously evaluated, test equipment is upgraded to ensure our customers receive the most cost effective repair or service and quick service turnaround.
Another way to help us reach our superior customer service goal relates to our vast computerized data management system. Service orders are tracked from the time a customer requests service, to years after the repair was completed. This provides valuable information that is readily available at any given time. Sales, various inventories, contract management, and business administration are all computerized.
.Motorola awarded Commtronics the highest ranking for its Service Assessment program. To achieve this, Commtronics accomplished Motorola’s most stringent standards for service delivery and quality. A premiere Motorola Service Center, Commtronics has received status as an E911, Securenet, ASTRO Digital Trunked Systems, Ardis and Gold Elite Console Installation and Service Facility.
